I learned to ride a bike at 46 years young in 2003 and rode a Yamaha TDM900 till it got to 135000 miles. I have a 55,000 miles XT660Z and have just exchanged a 25000 mile GTR1400 for an XT1200Z.

I Commute on my bike, sometimes 600 miles a week.

I have toured the Alps a few times and been around a fair bit of France, Germany and Spain.
I have an Iron Butt certificate for 1,000 miles in 24 hours and have done Lands End to John o'Groats in 14 hours.
I have been a ROSPA tutor since 2007

When I get some time I will; ride up the Baltic to Nordkapp; tour the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa.

Howdy from a little North near Witney.

The Mrs has a TDM, but only a mere 20k on the clock so I guess it has a way to go yet.

Welcome! I lived in the UK and was able to commute year round. Can't do that now, but IMHO 6 months riding the Rockies beats 12 months riding anywhere in the UK.

Welcome aboard form DC. The coast of Norway is bucket-list material and the Picos are right up there. When in the Picos last year, I kept coming across UK riders who got there on the overnight ferry. What a great way to mentally switch to vacation mode.

Great to see you staying true to the brand.
