Rode about 80 miles some highway, some roads ,and some sand. Very happy so far. Nice low center of gravity , handles road and loose stuff with ease. And the seat is great, first bike in a while where my knees didn't hurt after 30 minutes. Funny it looks and feels like a big bike , but I can get both my feet on the ground at s light with my 30 inch inseam ::001::. Ordered Jesse odessy bags, h&b crash bars and mounted my zumo.

Congrats! We picked mine up almost 4 weeks ago. Just hit 1000 miles last night. The break-in period goes by in a flash. There's just an easy service at 600 miles, and then only 400 comfortable and exciting miles to go. Now, I get to use the whole sweep of the tach.

I hope you enjoy your first 1000 as much as I have enjoyed mine.

Neato!

Since you’re new to Flatistan, a ride you might consider for about half of your run in mileage is looping the lake (Okeechobee). You can get right up on the dike at Port Mayaca and take some photos. Very cool. Between you and there is wasteland though.

That's funny, I noticed once you get about 10 miles inland it is quite a different place.

Come on down the Tamiami Trail and go on Janes Scenic Byway, Fakahatchee Preserve. Saw 5 Gators (on the road) and 2 Deer. South Florida can be a fun place to explore once you hit the dirt. Oh....at the end of the scenic Byway, it became a scenic waterway. Got to do a bunch of water crossings, some deep. It was a blast.
