Can seem to find a thread using search showing how folks hardwire in accessories, so don't flame the layman ::002:: . On my KLR, I had everything coming directly off of the battery with fuses a couple inches away from the battery hook-up.
Obviously this is fine if there are only a few things you're wanting to wire in, but with my S10, I'm thinking of doing it right. Perhaps an AP-1 or AP-2 from Eastern Beaver.
Where is a good place to mount this and are there any examples showing how to wire it up for switched power? With the S10's alternator output of 600W, waaay more than I'm used to being able to work with, I'm planning on running heated grips, a powered topcase for 12V charging of accessories, and my GPS.
Thanks!
Karson
