I lost a rubber nut an a plastic screw over the weekend. I remember finding a oem parts site that showed the winglets and hardware, but can't seem to find it again now that i need the parts. i have checked multiple yamaha oem parts sites under cowling and windsheild, but have come up with nothing. i also looked under the optional, but only see luggage. any ideas??

i really can't understand why i saw the winglets in the diagram one day and now nothing. i checked quite a few oem yamaha sites. i must be missing something. i should have saved the site in my favorites.

Just go down to the local hardware store. It's nothing more than a expansion nut and a metric bolt. Take one of the existing ones to compare. Cost you a couple of bucks at the very worst, probably less.

thanks Eric. I will do that. while I'm there I will get some flat head screws for my other project. I'm making a list for Thursday.

Oh and I forgot to mention: I found the pieces I was missing. they fell in the bike. I decided to look around with a flashlight and bingo. anyway I will buy some spares.

IIRC they are common 5/32" fine thread. It's one of the crossover sizes between US and metric.
