Has anyone ever tinted their windscreen using auto window tint? Curious as to the results and wondering how it holds up when things get wet.

I suspect that water will 'capillary' under the film in no time leaving it looking a bit tatty (unless you live somewhere dry, you may be OK). It's a great idea as clear windshields are a bit dull and very few of the taller ones are available with a tint.

No, I haven't, however, there are many who have applied various shades of plasti-dip on the inside of the windshield with good success. The stuff can be easily peeled off when not needed.

i have a MRA wind shield,it came already tinted and has the spoiler on top to help with buffeting...twisted throttle sells them and it is a quality product. the winglets i sprayed with a rattle can of night shade(you see pick up trucks with the dark tail lights , same stuff) but over time it will peel... it is easy to reapply and its cheap.....autozone sells it.
