Thumbs up to Altrider as they graciously replaced my cracked rear rack mount. I'm removing rear seat and want secure surface to mount my custom tour pack...

Not sure and I have thought of that option many times. I did write Altrider and inquire about a rear seat rack for the Tenere. I was told that it is on the list but they were trying to get products done for the new GS. Might help move it up the list if more of us wrote and requested.

I mentioned that and asked why they didn't sell the canvas pouch to fit in the rack. Response was that they were good ideas but they just don't, at least not yet. I guess I'll get the Wolfman and plan on modifying spacers to match height then probably have to do a little grinding to fit and painting to match.

Clint, I was told the same in those exact words.

Chicken, order one from Storm Industries. It fits perfectly and holds a Slime pump, accessories, and a few tools.

If Altrider won't do this in a timely manner... who wants to make some money.

I am currently using the pillion seat and that seems to do for now. But I can see the pillion plate being installed with quarter turn fasteners which would allow access to more storage.
