In my quest to eliminate buffeting, I've done quite a bit of research into what I think I want for my solo and two up travels. However, I'm not sure if it will all bolt up together. Here's what I've got on the drawing board.

Givi Airflow on a Touratech Adjustable bracket with the Yamaha OEM side wind deflectors. I'm not 100% sure where the OEM side deflectors even mount, so my apologies if this doesn't even come into the equation ::001::

Does anyone else have this setup, or have experience with others mounting this all together?

I have the Madstad and side deflectors, I don't believe your setup is that different. The side deflectors mount in the holes that run fore-aft of the gauge cluster using well nuts just like your windshield mounts with.

That setup rocks, Phil. Got a PM in to hopefully snag the Yamaha touring windshield in the forsale section. Once that's hopefully squared away, I'll be putting an order into touratech for the adjustable bracket, 665 lockable mount + hardwire kit, and then talking with stadium yamaha for the side deflectors.

My girlfriend and I are taking a trip to KC in the second week of April taking 90% slab - so that should be a fair test of all the farkles working in unison.

Thanks for posting how it all looks together!

Hi guys!

I have the exact same setup but to be honest, I think I couldn't find the best positioning...

- Touratech Adjustable Windshield Bracket
- Givi Airflow
- Side Wind Deflectors

- I have the bracket mounted to the lower holes on the bike
- and also the airflow mounted to the lower holes on the bracket

I'm 5'10 by the way..

if anyone has the same setup and succeded to find a sweet spot please share it with me.. Because I couldn't be sure that the Airflow prefers to be positioned with a lower or more perpendicular angle to work best? and also not sure if I should allow a big gap at the bottom of the screen or not?

I didn't even started with the adjustable airflow module! :D

If you have a touratech adjustable screen mount, an angle of between 70-80 will work. I am 6.2 and I don't get wind hitting my helmet. There is no magic position, you keep trying until you get it right.

it's really interesting... I don't get any wind on my helmet... (to the top at least)

it's the very lower part of my helmet (almost towards the sides of the chin area) and the shoulders that makes me uncomfortable... because those areas are hit by the wind and therefore comes the noise (mostly because of the wind hitting the chin / neck area)

I don't if this wind is coming because I position it too low? or too high so that wind comes underneath? I couldn't get it... :-[

Hey all, I have a TT screen mount similar to the one in the pics below. I managed to lose two of the locking nuts/knurled bolts (two either side of the satnav) somewhere in Greece & have bodged it since. Do TT sell these as spares, I couldn't see them sold separately on their site? I need both the bolt with the square bit which locks into the mount slider and the knurled nut and have been unable to find an alternative at hardware stores.

TT seems to do anything for money, but you'd probably need to contact them. Or see what you can fit from a local hardware store.

Yeah I contacted TT, they were semi helpful...but I scoured the internet and found a few places that look like the have what I'm after, so no need to fill Mr TT's pockets!
