Take a deep breath. It's not exclusively a WalMart issue. You will either get in the habit of checking for spray tips or this will happen to you again. I've seen shoppers 'testing' colors of spray cans in Home Depot and Lowes before too, along with stealing tips. It's a spray can issue, not a Walmart issue. It will cost more in time and effort to take it back. This is the first time in my life I have had a spray tip missing from a purchase. I'm not going to get in the habit to check for missing tips. No more shopping at Walmart. Problem solved.
I had not thought of kids stealing tips for doing graffiti art. I'm fortunate that we don't have that problem where I live.
It was so convenient that you went to Walmart for the lube instead of an auto parts store to begin with, so how is it less convenient to take it back and get what you paid for? You're letting your angst fool you into throwing away your money and the useless can of lube.
