Plan yesterday was to ride to Wellington, and check out some of the railroad snowsheds and other infrastructure. Didn't quite make it.

Rainy Pass, Washington, headed towards Stevens Pass.

Even in these conditions, no fuss, no drama. Still stops, still turns, still goes uphill! We turned around here, as even the 650 riders with knobbies were having trouble.

Ended up making a fire at a lower elevation campground and warming back up.

Not much of a ride report, but we will try again in the spring. ::003::

How did the stock tires work in the snow? I'm thinking "not so good".

Surprisingly well. Still could get moving uphill, still stopped, still turned. I don't have much other experience riding in the snow, so I can't really compare them to anything else. I was happy. Made it places I never imagined the thing should go.

Boy - I would give someone $5 to come up with an emo that replaces the dead horse with Rem's black bike, so he can whip it too :)

That speaks volumes. I didn't buy the bike for the traction control, but I have to admit I am blow away by the benefits it provides. Thanks for sharing. That is awesome.

Oh man, I think I may need to institute a "no color debates" policy around here. :-\

I couldn't agree more. This childish behavior has to stop. You certainly won't catch me engaging in it. 'nuff said.

Okanogan County is my old stomping grounds. Great areas to ride.

Andrew, a few ofus rode from Seattle over Cayuse and White pass over towards and into Yakima for lunch this past Saturday. We didn't see any snow yet. Your ride looks fun.
