Sonoma checking in! I think it would be awesome to get a NorCal/NV ride going on at some point. When I had my VFR800 we got like 6-10 people together for rides every few months and even did a few over night 1000 mile trips.

I dont have too many riding buddies who want to hit dirt either so it would be great to meet up with some fellow adventure guys.

Tim and I did a loop around Berryessa last week. I think we're out of good weather for a bit.

If it isn't raining or heavy winds I am good for a ride.

Don is a very good ride leader and he knows the Sierra passes well. The 200+ mile loop last week was fun.

I have been wanting to ride a few roads around Alice's.

If it stays dry I want to ride Route 1 North to South so this would include part of 36 and 299.

Hwys 25, 198, Coalinga, Parkfield Grade, Parkfield, Vineyard Canyon Road, Paso Robles, Nacimiento-Fergusson, Hwy 1, is hopefully on my list for next week.

Re: Who is in Northern California . . .

Further north for me; northeastern Humboldt county.

USFS route 1 (between 299 & 36) is questionable this time of year. The road (albeit a good paved road) tops out at 6,000 ft. elev., is not maintained, and much of it on north-facing slopes that don't get a lick of sunshine for months. Rain and snow freezes and adds to the snow/ice pack.
After the big thaw (end of May) allow two hours of seat time to get from 229 to 36. Yrmv, Dennis

Hello nor-cal. Folks: we're planning a seven day ride around north. West Cal and am hoping we can get some tips on where we might find some nice gravel routes

Hey Ya'all, I'm in Sacramento, and picked up my new 2013 white Super Tenere yesterday late afternoon. So far I have 152 easy break-in miles on it, and I would love to go for a ride with any of you tomorrow. Count me in the Firday-Saturday ride club.
