I'll be staying in Whistler for a few days this summer and will have one day to check out local roads and sights.

I'll be two-up, so not looking for super twisties or major off-roading.

Thanks!

I recommend riding the #99, head towards Pemberton and head north to Lillooet. It is a beautiful ride fallowing a valley and canyon. Some twisties but easy riding and the speed is slow. Early start is best and have lunch in Lillooet then back track to Whistler. Well worth it.
If you wish to make a longer day you can loop around back to Vancouver.
Once in Lillooet head south to Lytton fallowing the Fraser canyon to Hope, then west on #7 back into Vancouver.
The downfall of that is you will be riding into heavy city traffic once back to the Vancouver area.
The best way once on #7 after Hope is to stay on it till the town of Maple Ridge then cross the Golden Ears bridge to get back on the #1 transcanada. Head west on #1 to North Vancouver to head back to Whistler.
You could ride this in the opposite direction with an early start and avoid the majority of the mad traffic, so ride east to Hope, #1, #7, to Hope, north Fraser Canyon and so on. It will take all day but breath taking scenery.
Have fun ride safe.

We were through Whistler a couple weeks ago, 99 is definitely one of the greatest motorcycle roads I’ve ever ridden !

When are you going?

The Duffy (i.e. Hwy 99) is great. Careful going along Hwy 12 to Lytton, there are wildfires right now and parts maybe closed. Hwy 1 has had major washouts last summer, and there will be delays.
Good site to check road conditions is https://drivebc.ca/ , that's going to show you closures and construction (and for some reason is more reliable than google maps).

Another great ride is north out of Lillooet and towards carpenter lake. Great scenery :)

Hey vgazer, I concur with lund. 99 northbound towards Lillooet twists and turns beautifully. See the images below, because a picture says so much more:

The northernmost section is below:

Enjoy the ride!

Look like quite a few people suggest the road to Lillooet, so it is officially on the list. @jeckyll suggestion to Carpenter lake looks pretty cool too, so that is a maybe. We are leaving in a few weeks and I noticed the wildfire near Lytton, so a loop may be out of the question. An up and back with random stops at cool pull outs may work for our day trip. Appreciate the suggestions, I'll post some pics when we get back.
