Funny thing about that. They charged one of my boxes with import duties. I called FedEx to fight it. Basically the lady on the phone kind of sighed and said it was not worth it for them to fight me and to throw away the bill..... Not really the answer I was looking for but it turned out OK.WJBertrand said:Motorcycle accessories are exempt from import duties. If FedEx tries to collect them, refuse.

Yeah, I bought a Trekker Outback 42L case, the mounting plate and a set of crash bars and shipping was only $30 something. Between processing the order to receiving it I think it was a couple of weeks, once they shipped it was only 3 days though. Amazing.Terminus said:Funny thing about that. By the way, the shipping fees were ridiculously cheap for some reason. For the two side cases, the top box and a few other small accessories the shipping was only about $32....Not sure how that is possible but that is what the receipt said.
I've been researching Kappa K-Adventure / Givi Trekker Outback cases and Motostorm has the best prices I have found. As the price on their site is based on the Euro the exchange rate can make the US Dollar price fluctuate. If the Dollar weakens against the Euro, the price in USD gets lower!JPDenny said:Finally decided which panniers to buy, anyone know the best website to buy Givi Trekker panniers?
True, math was never my strong point!WJBertrand said:If the dollar weakens against the Euro, the price of something tied to the Euro gets more expensive in dollars, not cheaper.
