Maybe the last midwest ride of the year. Over 60°F today but weather is turning. Leave for AZ in a month. Rode some old and new favorites over close to the Mississippi.

I had a Husqvarna and GS1200 ride by when I stopped for that last picture. They didn't stop or I would have taken a picture of them.

I didnt think about it till i was on my way home so i didnt get a picture of the bike in front of the church but i rode to see the grandkids in a Christmas concert. The bearded man on the right is my son and the boy next to him is my grandson. My grandaughter was too little see in the pictures! My wonderful daughter in law is on the left of the kids near the narrator in the middle of the stage with the ugly Christmas sweater! It was a great show.20231208_183409.jpg20231208_192525.jpg

First AZ riding of the season. My son's family is in town and we rented another S10 and the 2 of us escorted the rest of the family on a desert tour in the SxS.

No one told my son the water slide was closed today.

Lunch stop

As high as we went today.

Curious how you were able to rent a Super Tenere?
Online service - Riders Share. Owners rent bikes. It's like AirBnB. This was a 2012. With insurance was less than $100/day. It was one of the cheapest to rent and was fairly close. It is a good way to try other bikes. The guy had a nice Gold Wing and a bunch of other bikes. Earlier this year my SIL rented a GS1200. I rented A WeeStrom in HI.

My son has limited Off Highway experience so he rode mine with better tires than the rental.
