This is when you wish you had the skills to pull a massive 100 yard wheelie, leaving them gaping in awe.Went for a nice ride around the tourist areas last night. Couple of HD's pull up next to me at the light before this one I give a wave, they flip me off. Whatever floats your goat I guess.... The next light Mr. 1% bad ass (Destralos is an off shoot of the Banditos) stalls his bike. I admit I chuckled a bit too much about it the rest of my ride. He proceeded to lane split (illegally) at the next light while revving the engine a whole lot to re-secure his manhood (roll eyes)
I was very tempted to hold up my left hand making clutch grabbing motion hah! This is when you wish you had the skills to pull a massive 100 yard wheelie, leaving them gaping in awe.
Technically... You can't get there from the main park. Some beautiful spots in Kolob canyon though. Kolob reservoir is worth a trip too, but that's accessed off Hwy 9 just near Virgin unless you want to ride more dirt. Fun on a good day. Pavement from Virgin.Kolob Canyon, part of Zion National Park.
Maybe a bit of luck. My Grampy, passed it on to my Dad, first of ten children, who then passed it on directly to me. It is 100 acres, with frontage on that river of 1700 feet, both sides. About 300 feet behind the cameraman, another similar sized river joins this one at a 90 degree angle, doubling its size, separating the property in three pieces, I even have a river ford trail.I think so too, that you are fortunate with your property (maybe not luck)
I'm happy you're going to keep that promise. There are a few ungrateful relatives I don't speak to anymore because they sold heirlooms that my grandfather passed on to them. One even tried to steal a rifle he passed to my mother. Apparently I'm the bad one for calling him a theif and pointing out that he broke one of only ten hard rules that God laid out.The only reason I ended up with is is I'm the oldest of the grandchildren, live on the property where it meets the main road, and made a promise to my Grandfather before he passed away that this would be the last of my possessions I'd ever sell, a promise I intend on keeping...
Wow! Thanks for sharing! This was the "Switchbacks" portion of my Moab trip.
I barely scratched the surface with only a couple days to see what is there. I fully intend to go back and do some more exploring.
I got to Demo one of those a few years ago.We traded bikes for a few miles. Holy crap this thing never ceases to amaze me!!!
