I can do that!!!eemsreno said:ColoRider We need you to post us a new picture
Excellent hint!eemsreno said:Someone that has faired from Washington to Alaska should know this one but I have not done it.
You got it!!! This was our departure point on my Alaska trip in '07 on my DL1000. We made a similar trip in '08 in the cage. We took the ferry up to Juneau and then caught the cross-gulf ferry over to Whitier and then on up into Alaska. We rode all the way home (no ferry). Highly recommended, although we are now planning another AK trip in '12 (on the SuperT) and will ride all the way both directions.limey said:It's the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in Washington
Yes, I'm a believer in the AMHS. On the portion from Bellingham to Juneau, we "tented" on the fantail of the ferry. It was great!Jakeboy said:The Inside Passage is very cool! That route cannot be seen from a bike. The best of AK, IMHO.
Love Homer, Sitka, Kodiak and up out of Skagway, too. Beautiful stuff. All accessible via the Alaska Marine Highway System.
Do it!
Have put this in my bucket list,ColoRider said:You got it!!! This was our departure point on my Alaska trip in '07 on my DL1000. We made a similar trip in '08 in the cage.
