I like mine............................................Sell yours to some happy new Tenere owner that has done some investigating before he purchased it. I would buy tickets to see you telling him the same reasons you posted for selling it. ::025::

well, considering the OP will most likely never visit this thread (or maybe even the forum) again. See posters like this come and go. Make statements with a "tried and true" feel to them, then never come back to provide evidence or respond.

Nevertheless....the reason for my reply is simple: I WILL BUY YOUR S10. Why wait and waste your time? $7.5k and you cover shipping to VA. Problem solved. You are a happy man with $7.5k in your hands to buy your harley, and I am happy to get an S10 on the road with an owner looking forward to riding it.

Please PM with details

I've learn over time, if something doesn't fit be it machines or tools or people try not to stress about it. Figure out what went wrong, learn from the mistake and move on. The worst possible outcome would be to repeat the mistake. Right?

We're just spoiled. Actually, we are. In the 60s, 70s and 80s, we would have been drooling and frothing at the mouth to get something like the Tenere. Now, we can all sorts of things far better than we could have imagined then.

OP is complete jackass for posting something like this. His previous posts consisted of whining about the screwing his dealer gave, high cost of first service, etc. Useless post, no need to check this thread again. ::)

Don't care, some people are just like that. Don't know the guy he may just have had some mistaken ideas about the bike. It's a bit hard to tell with a ride around the block test ride. I rode the thing at a YAMAHA event so I had the chance to ride alongside on a few different bikes and on the the S10 on a variety of roads, and I had done lots of homework (I bet you are shocked by that :D) so I knew what settings to use and what I was looking for. Just confirmed things really.

So shit happens. And some time people get a bit narky about it. I might go over and tell everyone on Stromtrooper what's wrong with the Strom now.. ;)

We're all entitled to an opinion, and allowed to express it without retribution ... even if said opinion may be misguided and WRONG. Sorry, didn't mean to shout. I mean, take Rod and his unfounded attachment to BLUE. Jeeze. But no one's gonna dispatch Vinny and Guido .... he can peacefully co-exist with the more highly developed members.

People can be wrong and still be productive human beings. My wife used to think I was cute. Enough said. R

I believe, to each his own, but have to wonder why he bought the bike, as most of his points were visible from day 1.... ::)
Perhaps his dealer pissed him off too often - I know I got sh!t service from mine and it did put me a bit off the brand, as I was used to superb service from BMW.

My only REAL complaint, I stress MY only real complaint, is the lack of power below 5500RPM in 2nd and 3rd gears, which was not that visible in the test bike I rode, as the test bike was still running in, and I kept the revs below 4500RPM. If the power limitation was only in 'T' mode, I would be happy and it would make sense to me, but WTF in 'S' mode?? ??? ::)

If there is a reasonably priced fix, I'll do it, else I'll see what BMW comes up with next year...

WOW! Just saw this post. Stirred some poo, he did.... ::025::

The OP is indeed entitled to his opinion and will hopefully find the right bike for himself next time.

I'm loving the ST although it IS far from perfect....but close enough for me.
