Very tiny hands ?
I find it actuially a shame that it's so hard on a bike like this. These are things that you should be able to adjust on the fly (even without tools imho). If I remember correctly even on my very old XJ600S there was a nice little wheel for it.
Things like 2up riding, alot of luggage,... demand an instant adjustment. On my latest trip I had camping gear and the usual gear with me and I normally should have adjusted the beam. I allready have my spring turned to the max with my 105kg, so nothing to change there.
In the neighbourhood of that screw there's nothing that could interfere with a 1" screw or something with a little wheel (just like the XJ600S and I think my old FJR too) for easy adjustment.
