Did that perhaps include Highway 25 and parts of San Benito County? You really need to try Los Gatos Creek Road off of 25 into Coalinga. Of course, once you're in Coalinga the logical choice is 198 to Parkfield Grade Road for a steak at Parkfield Inn, then out to San Miguel and back to the coast any of several tantalizing ways.tomatocity said:Yesterday rode 404 miles (250 miles of back roads) to hit the 14,000 mile mark. The backroads between Hollister CA and Paso Robles CA beautiful and very fun. No pictures since I lost my camera somewhere at home
Either way, Make a complaint where you bought the fuel, with your receipt, & insist on some one getting back to you after they have tested the fuel. This is standard operating procedure for them. (Inside knowledge )zdmj02 said:Not according to the pump, the receipt and the sniff test. Thanks
Thanks for sharing the inside knowledge. I'll take advantage of that suggestion!Epping said:Either way, Make a complaint where you bought the fuel, with your receipt, & insist on some one getting back to you after they have tested the fuel. I did the same thing a week or so ago. I am not home for the exact part number but MSR makes a simple barend nut that works very well. I will post the part number when i return tomorrow night.Borghi said:Installed Pro Taper Contour Raptor handlebars. A huge improvement in ergonomics for me. Still not perfect, but I think with the addition of the Rox 1 up and 1 back risers they will be perfect. Now to figure out how to attach the bar end weights. Planning on using large well nuts unless someone has a better idea!
That sucks but at least you are ok and you can still ride ::008::tomatocity said:Went to a funeral for a KLR friend... sad but inspiring
Rode to Cycle Gear SLO for a well needed new rear tire... excellent
Turned off of Hwy 101 onto the Hwy 46 off ramp. The pickup truck in front of me backed up and crushed my front fender... not good, bummed
Now I have a 7+ hour ride tomorrow with a broken front fender and a new rear tire... I'll live

So what was his reason for backing up, and did he at least acknowledge his asshattery?tomatocity said:Went to a funeral for a KLR friend... sad but inspiring

I'm envisioning a slope and someone that can't get off the clutch and on the gas in a timely fashion...AVGeek said:So what was his reason for backing up, and did he at least acknowledge his asshattery?
