Don't laugh!! I washed and cleaned all the nooks and crannies on her today....while it rained.

I don't work on dirty bikes and nor does James with SPS. Since its final suspension update day Friday I needed to get it done. Holy dirty bike!!!!

I have had a busy couple of weeks putting on all the new farkles. Mounted up the new Hiedenau tires I got from Tabasco. I highly recommend them. Great performance on both pavement and gravel surfaces. There is just a small amount of vibration from the front tire under braking just before the bike comes to a complete stop.

Fitted a new 22" Parabellum windshield on my MotoRaddGargage adjustable windshield mount last weekend and put a couple hundred miles on it. The adjustable bracket allowed me to move the top of the shield much closer to my helmet while still allowing me to see over the top. It is great, much quieter and less turbulence than the stock shield. My wife said it has reduced the wind noise in her helmet by 50%. ;) ;)

Yesterday, I received my Sena SMH10 headsets and SR10 from Revzilla. Hooked them up tonight and went for a 50 mile dinner ride with the wife to give them a try. Very pleased with there performance even in strong crosswinds. The VOX worked well once I figured out how to set them up. Hopefully the SR10 works as well with my phone, GPS and radar detector.

Received a big box from Altrider yesterday with a great looking skidplate, rack and driveshaft guard all black anodized. Hopefully I can get them installed in the next few days. Then I should be set for a great summer of riding. ::015::

Yamaha called this morning to confirm the VIN for my Y.E.S. coverage. I was just getting ready to leave for work so I confirmed the VIN before rolling out. I was surprised that they took the initiative and called me. I paid for the coverage after-hours last night, online.
I racked up another 60 miles commuting to work. In the process, I crossed the 4000 mile threshold. Time for service!

I filled the Might T with 27 litres so with the 4 come 5 litres already in that gives me a conservative total of 31 Litres (Fuel pump has gobbled up 2 litres of fuel space).

Anyway doing the math at 55 mpg which is what I'm getting regularly I now have a tank range of 374 miles ::018::

31 Litres = 6.8 UK Gallons x 55 mpg = 374 Miles BEST ::013::

31 Litres = 6.8 UK Gallons x 50 mpg = 340 Miles AVERAGE ::012::

31 Litres = 6.8 UK Gallons x 45 mpg = 306 Miles WORST ::008::

Either way I'm over the glorious 300 miles per tank mark ::015::

Checked on the status of my Panniers today. Was wondering why they haven't arrived yet (been waiting 23 days). Discovered that my mail forwarding service sent them out USPS Parcel Post after I told them to send the packages Priority Mail. So... now they are on a surface shipment that takes anywhere from 25 to 40 days to APO. :mad: Clerk told me she "sent via the Post Office, so she assumed it was Priority mail" ??? Not much to do now but wait. I'll betcha Tabasco's lights and/or my headlight guard arrive first :D

120 miles this morning on my life is good ,daily nothing to do since I'm retired ride. After 11am the love bugs got to be a bit much ,so I went home and gave the bike a quick rinse. Anyway i bought a new camera and took a couple of shots to try it out. ::008::

I assume this is coverage Yamaha provides that guarantees your wife will always say YES ...

Press and hold the buitton for several seconds. (The following is a joke. No panties in a bunch) You didn't do everything. It's in the owner's manual.
