no, I think he is saying ABS does not work on rear brakeCheckswrecks said:Per the owner's manual:
"The unified brake system does not function when the brake pedal is applied alone or before the brake lever is applied."
of course, it should work with either break or both breaksSTenere Fan said:My speed when it locked up was around 30mph. I would think that the abs should work if only one break is applied. Not sure though.
Why yes they do!Mellow said:Jesse bags got here .... I ordered them last Thursday...they shipped Monday and here today... wooo hoo.. do these bags make my... ah.. never mind.

STenere Fan said:I just had my first service done on the bike. All they found was a couple of fasteners missing on the right plastic. Also, as I was going to the dealer for the service I was playing around a little and wanted to see how the bike slows down with only the rear brake pedal used. Well, I could get the rear tire to lock up. I did this twice. I mentioned this to the dealer and they couldn't find any ABS error codes or anything else wrong. Their opinion was the rear tire might skid a little before the ABS kicks in. Anyone heard of this??

I like this. It made me LOL.plugugly said:Test fit a co-pilot.
The rear brake first thing is supposed to be for the unified braking, not the ABS.MurphCO said:I saw a video about the bike on YouTube a while back and the guy was explaining that the ABS will disengage if you hit the rear brake first. This was a feature for dirt, where locking up the back can be helpful in some situations.
It was a feature I liked when I heard it, why would you guys not ?
