If you have previously tracked your gas mileage I would like to know if there is a difference.
Only have 370 miles so I don't think I could give any info on fuel economy one way or the other. Seat of the pants on ride today seemed like engine was not working as hard to go along at 70. But that very well maybe in my mind. Kinda like they always seem to run better after a good wash. After seeing what is inside the pipe I am amazed that they run at all.

I installed my Jammy Sol Series One auxiliary lights yesterday. I have a set of these on my KL250 also. I ran these through my FZ-1 Fuzeblock and have them on an on-off switch.

I don't seem to be able to find a price list on their site. Do you recall what the Sol Series goes for? Twisted has a great deal going on their Denali lights right now.

I got both my sets from this eBay Vendor. They're sold individually for $70, including shipping. Both times I ordered they were backorded for a week or so before they got shipped. I think that happened to another member here, too.

I've seen the Denali's on a Super Tenere. They're nice, and they come with the wiring harness, switch and stuff like that.

I was pretty busy this weekend.
Installed:
1. OEM skidplate
2. Akrapovic
3. Givi crashbars
4. Givi quick release panniers frames
5. Tank Pad
6. Tank Bag
7. Led Blinkers

Sunday morning went for the first +100k off road trip with couple of friends.
Damaged lower header pipe due to flying stone and proven Yamaha's oem skid plate BAD DESIGN.
Monday morning took it for the first service. Flawless!
Here are some pics.

Went to PCP Motorsports for the recall upgrade. Saw the O-ring afterwards and it did not look to be twisted.

The Service department told me the coolant level was over full and it is since it is at the FULL line. They did not correct the level and said I should. Heck they were the shop that overfilled it when I bought it. They also told me there was oil in the airbox drain tube. Told me it was from overfilling the oil or a tip over. I did neither of these but I will clean it when I install the K&N air filter. Might be time to look into Roseville Yamaha for service.

LOL, you'll almost always get oil in the air box, more if over filled, but any breathing the engine does through the air box will always carry oil mist/vapor. And a surge tank reading full? Oh my! Personally, if my bike is warm, I want the surge tank to read full. Or any vehicle for that matter. If it's full warm, it should drop when cold. If not, the cap isn't allowing it and should be replaced.
Strange thought processes there.

My thoughts exactly but they won't believe the engine is breathing oil. I used about half a quart in 2,726 miles. Drained the oil and filter for two days and poured it in the original bottle and took it to them. The Yamaha Tech Rep hopefully will probably read this. I think the service department is upset because I don't take my bike to them. I think they should be more concerned with earning the right to have me bring this bike to their service department.

The coolant reads FULL when it is cold. I will remove a few ounces to put the level in the middle and log the correction in my spreadsheet.

The full line on the recovery tank is for cold engine and is fine filled to the full mark.
I agree with you since it has not had a problem in 8,000 miles. They are being nit picky because I do not give them high marks. They told me the only way oil could get in the air box was by either a 'tip over' or 'engine oil overfill'. They forgot through 'blow-by'. I will clean the air box tomorrow while I am balancing the throttle bodies.

The Owner's Manual, page 7-16, says to check when the engine is cold with a Tip "the coolant should be between the minimum and maximum level marks". The difference is 2-3 ounces and a lot of room in the reservoir.

Well I thought what I did was too boring to include, but since you guys pass the time looking at fill levels of coolant overflow tanks :-\

I repositioned the relay for my PC-8, mounting it to where where the OEM driving light relay would normally be. The short length of the positive lead makes routing that wire a challenge but once the zip ties were in place, I had a secure install. The side cover still protects it all, so I'm pretty satisfied. I initially had the relay crammed above the battery sideways, and although that was adequate, I didn't care for it too much.

What did I do to my Tenere today? Ha! That's an easy one! All I did was move my snow blower AROUND my Tenere so I could clear the 6" to 8" of snow we got overnight.
;)

I like it, DaFoole. Let us know how the black holds up over time. I like the black (who wouldn't..) but just wonder if I'd be better off with the silver, or natural color if the black scratches easy.
