Sorry I was referring to the input voltage of the tender itself, if it were to somehow short itself out and cause a electrical feedback to the motorcycle battery. Honestly I'm not even sure if thats possible. As far as the guage being the correct size I have to rely on the compressors SAE lead (see picture) and assume everything will be correct. I suppose it wouldnt hurt to give it a test run and check the wires for excessive heat. View attachment 109754

Oh, okay, yea I'm not as concerned about the input on your tender at the wall, only that the voltage/amperage applied at the lead doesn't cause an electrical fire, which occurs after the buck down from 120v to 12.5ish volts at the output. Running a compressor off an SAE lead is fine. Just don't jumpstart via the lead

Finally got around to installing the Givi racks and E22 side cases.

Took it out for a shake down cruise after swapping tires, tank, risers, and other stuff. As I was waiting for the 4th scree for the windshield I forgot to tighten up the other 3. 33 miles into the ride I noticed that the windshield was flexng or moving. So I pulled into the Honda Shop that I frequent and saw I lost another screw so it was hanging on by the two on the right. They had me look through their bolt bin. I found two that would work. Made it home safe. Bike is running well and no vibrations. I guess this is what happens when an Unexpected 70° day rolls in. You forget about the last bit of maintenance and you just go ride!

Yesterday I installed my crash bars and this morning I removed the passenger seat and mounted my trusty Kuryakyn bag that I purchased moons ago. Great for storing a helmet or packing clothes when on a trip. Tomorrow she gets her first oil change.

I like your crash bars. Was it an easy install? I don't see the side panel under the crash bar. Did you have to remove it?

Yeah…total pain in the butt mounting and dismounting. I was determined to run to the grocery store and needed the storage. Hopefully the ordered top case will come in and I will have a better option. It was nice to have a backrest,I dId appreciate that.

I’ve got same size bags both sides. Dismount on the high side has been working pretty well so far.

I like your crash bars. Was it an easy install? I don't see the side panel under the crash bar. Did you have to remove it?

Took some finagling to install, just have to take your time. My first mistake was washer #7 goes behind the connecting cross member. It’s tricky because your working with/aligning the brake distribution block, the washer , crossmember and the 8mm bolt.

Also when installing the side supports that connect to the cross member support I would have installed the top right #8 ( radiator side)17mm bolt first. The brake line and some I believe wiring that run right next to that bolt making it a challenge to align when the other 3 bolts are loosely installed. Be sure to leave everything loose until all part are assembled! Then i tightened the #8 bolts first and gradually tightened the rest of the brackets incrementally. Pay no attention to the coffee stains on the instructions

The side panel was removed because I was trying to install a quad lock charging dock.

AirTagged the Guzzi and sharing because it's just as valid for a Tenere. I simply put it in a waterproof little baggie then duct-taped it inside a plastic panel after removing the speaker.
You remove the speaker because thieves have learned to check stolen vehicles with their phone by pinging the speaker to remove the AirTag.

These things show up when any iPhone is within 800 ft (max Bluetooth) and that's pretty much anywhere domestically since roughly half of the US phone population is on Apple.
I previously hid one in the liner of my portable tool box and car.

I installed the exact same engine guard bars this past Sat. As you said a little finicky but they seem solid and look great on the bike.

Ok, tomorrow. I put the Moose Racing panniers back on. They were still bowed from AK trip and didn't align with the lids very well...as in gaps! Used a hammer and got it a lot closer. After this trip I will take them off and see if I can get them better.

These were so tender when you picked a rack up it fell apart.

Today's tinkering...
Repair of the clutch master cylinder and change of fluids. I used the Tourmax repair kit and all the parts were identical when I compared them to the oem parts.
