Spent the day moving some parts from one bike to another, after buying a non-ES 2014. Feel a little guilty about selling the 2012, as it is a great bike, but the 2014 was a health-forced sale and the newer bikes do have a lot of nice upgrades; especially the cruise control for long distance rides. Member W4ARF (Steve) really kept the 2014 immaculate and the poor thing will never be this clean again.

The black will be for sale shortly, located just north of DC.

I just returned from a 3,200 mile trip through CO and UT on the new 2015. It ran flawlessly as expected. I really like the cruise control for long stretches, especially in windy conditions and with changing terrain. The engine is now broken in well, and does feel more powerful than the 2012 to a degree. The one thing that I liked better on the 2012 was the analog tach, but I'm growing to like the display on the newer bike, especially with the gear indicator now included. A great bike is now a little better.

LOL, I replied pretty quick and sent a deposit when Steve posted it for sale. We got home from Africa mid-Friday and since my internal clock was 6 hrs ahead I used it as an opportunity to go to bed real early and left the house at 4am Saturday.
The down side was the Saturday traffic all the way up I-64 and then 95 on the way home, making it a 12 hour trip.

I sure am tempted by one of those...
I spent a few days trying to decide whether to go for the MRA Vario Touring or the MRA X-Creen, and then some more time deciding if it was to be a clear or a tinted screen. The major problems we have to sort out with this bike are never ending :D

I think I'm like the only person on this planet that's the right height for the OEM Yamaha Tall windshield. It's perfect. Long haul at 80mph, it goes all the way up and puts the air over my helmet. For hot days I leave it down and get plenty of clean air to keep me cool.

I'm running the standard OEM screen with a TT bracket on my 2011 model. It was fine, until I bought my new helmet recently. I just couldn't seem to find a position that would get rid of the buffet with my new helmet, hence the move to the MRA Vario. I'm 5'10", 29" inseam. Most people my size on here and on ADV say the MRA is the biz, so here's hoping.

Good to hear. I recently purchased one but have not installed it. I like the shape of the top of the windshield. The $99 price made it easy to purchase.

Wrong-O... I too am just fine with the stock windscreen. I'm 5'9 1/2" and 30" inseam ( not that I understand what my inseam has to do with windscreen height).

If two people are the same height, the one with a shorter inseam has a longer torso (so the top of their head is higher above the seat).

Adjusted throttle body's for the 3rd time in 2 months.
How long does the adjustment/sync last until you can tell a difference?

I am guessing that there is a vacuum leak from bad vacuum cap(s) or loose connection(s).
