Today I rescued my new White 13 from Heinans in Osseo, MN. Didn't get away from the dealer till nearly five . Met forum member "Dry Rider" while there. He led me to the highway I needed to be on. Thanks Dan. Really impressed with the bike so far ... Best balanced bike I've been on. Wind management is going to take some work. Hope the madstad works the miracle it did on my Stroms

Prepped for the new basket, CCT, valve check/adjustment, new tire, fluids, and probably sync the TBs while I'm there.

Made up a dash shelf using a piece of melamine that I've had laying around for 20 years. Initially made it from AL but the piece I had was too thin so it flexed quite a bit. The melamine is much stronger.

Currently it's home to a constant hot 12V outlet.

I also installed my Eastern Beaver three circuit fuse panel, it's powering the outlet as well as my GPS. I like to have my GPS always powered as well as having an always hot source of 12 volts. While I was in there I connected a Battery Tender pig tail as well.

Fuse block portion.

Connectors for accessories.

Changed my clutch and brake fluids yesterday. What makes it exciting is that it was the first time I did it. No prior experience. Internet this forum and modern technology and patience was a great help.

Found the source of my vibration. My hands were going to sleep on the 10 mile ride to work. Thought maybe the Altrider bars were causing it. Come to find out the rear engine bolt on the right side was just about finger tight. Guess I didn't tighten it up enough when I installed the Altrider bash plate. Good to have a smooth bike again!

I recieved my ECU from AVC. I am a very happy camper. It was the best $200 i have spent on my bike. I had been debating on doing it or not, and i am happy I did. I chose the T light and S enhanced Gen 2 maps. Big thank you to AVC.

That is awesome! It cracks me up when some of the cattle turn and look at you as if to say, "Hey man, what are you doing on my road?"

I'm trying to get in as many good rides as I can before the rains come here in Oregon. Monday, we (two Teneres) went to the east side of Mt. Hood out to Dufur, OR.

Hey barkingllizard, hope that wasn't your first trip down Powderface Tr. Been doing it all year. Too much traffic on it last Saturday.

This site only does the auto-embed from YouTube....I'll talk to Venture to see if there is a way to embed videos from other sources...

Made a bracket to get rid of the exesive vibration on the GPS fitted to the crossbar, tooked it for a test over Swartberg Pass and other dirt roads and are realy happy with the setup, now I can do the final finishing on the bracket that I know it sorted the vibration problem,

Quik fixed, only used 2 mm stainless sheet metal.
