Did a quick bling. It is the first time I tried my hand at this . Can you spot what I have done to a basic stock S10?

Ok here is closer pick . Just temporary, just want to see what the heat does. Do you see the what I have done?

Carbon fiber exhaust! Plus an upside down bike, when viewed on the iPad.

Bingo , Carbon fibre on part of the exhaust cover. Try to rode the bike on my head but fell off. Hehehe. Turned the pic right side up in MS picture manager.

Checking what the heat will before using new carbo fibre. Piece was left of what I bought to have my previous DL1000 covered on areas that were prone to get scratched.

Fitted the 'under the headlight' spoiler that's OE on the 2014 model onto my 2011 bike. Much neater than the aluminium sheet and mesh creation that I made a while back.

Was also going to fit a Gipro gear indicator too but my mate Rob turned up and asked for a hand fitting new chain and sprockets to his Tiger 1050. Took a few hours to get it done and it was a bloody messy job, as there was oily, gritty cack stuck absolutely everywhere.

I haven't had to deal with a chain and sprockets for 18 months now and am SOOOOOOOO glad to have shaft drive. ::013::

1) Any before and after pics?

2) With you 100% on shafts vs. chains.

Rode 359 kms to Missoula MT.
Glad you took the scenic route. ::008::

If you have the time, and are ok with that direction, ride Hwy 12 out of Missoula, over Lolo Pass and down into Grangeville, ID. It's about 272 kms. If you're really fortunate, get a room or find a camp site there, then do the reverse route at dawn and you'll be treated to one of the finest motorcycle roads in the Western US, at a time when only a couple of ducks and a few fishermen are out, so pretty much free road at what ever speed you find comfortable. It's more fun West to East, but doesn't suck East to West either.

Good to know as I'll be on that road Jul 7th (McCall - Grangeville - Missoula) then next day on to the Going-To-The-Sun road west to east and back into Canada after 3 weeks on the road. ::022::

Just installed the TT Adjustable windshield bracket with the GPS bar. Still think I need a new windscreen for better coverage but I'll see how this works, so far on a short ride it seems better. Do like the GPS mount bar and it's a great place for the Zumo.

Swapped out the Montana for a 590LM.

Quite a bit more real estate, it's a ton faster. Integrates well with my Sena intercom.

It's 3oz heavier than the Montana, will be interesting to see how the tourtech mount setup stands up off pavement.

My Tenere has 4,100 miles now (in two months) and has not been washed by anybody other than by Mother Nature. I decided it was time to wash the bugs off its face. I took a bucket of steaming hot water out to just give it a "hobo bath". Dam thing backed into the corner of my garage and started growling at me. Used the water to clean the windshield of my wife's car instead. Then I went out and added more bugs to my collection on the motorcycle.

Its bound to rain again on me, I will clean it then.

Well you aren't the first one! I keep mine clean at home. On the road, the only time it sees any water is if it rains or I go through a water crossing.

Don't feel bad. They don't like to be washed. I've cleaned parts, but never washed mine in 74k miles. It just gets dirty again. I'm not a fair weather rider.
