I haven't installed my second hand headers because I'm not in the mood to beat the crap out of my ACD. I'll be watching for your report on the T-Rex clearances.

I changed my Super Tenere with normal suspension to ES. From the outside, old robes but the interior is more noble.
It was a nice feeling to have two queens for a while. Unfortunately one of them had to go to the new owner.
Those blue rims own me right now. Got to get me a set!

I like that print of the Porsche 917/30 in the background.
The 917/30 was an insane racing vehicle that basically killed the Can-Am racing series. o_O
I do like a bit of German engineering from time to time :)
I also am fond of Can-Am!

Just a little bit of my collection.

When I was around 8 y/o my Dad brought me to Watkins Glen to see a Can-Am race and it was amazing!
The sound of those cars under speed was terrific to my young ears. Somewhere buried in my basement
I have an Ektachrome slide (my Dad was a photographer) of me standing next to Mario Andretti's Ferrari 712M.

Been looking for a nice pillion plate to match a rear rack. Also wanted a low profile, and something inexpensive, so decide to fab my own. Haven't done much metal work before, but found 3/16 aluminum is very forgiving to work with using a jigsaw and some standard files. I'm happy with how things turned out :)

I grew up at Watkins Glen.
My very first race there was in 1980 (I was 10 yrs old) My Dad took me and my older brother to the last Formula-1 race held there.
I went a lot during the IMSA GTP days, the WSC days, and later went to a bunch of Vintage events there.
One of my favorite events was the "Porsche Double-Fifty" celebration. ALL the cars were there from the Porsche factory museum in Germany.....................Awesome stuff!
I grew up in Central NY, and moved to Arizona in December-2001.

How did you keep the lines and curves so straight and smooth? Did you make up a jig to cut this plate? Nice job!
