They really change the look of the bike, suit it too. A mate has the Dakar version on his KTM 950, he swears by them.

Those look awesome. Hope to order a set in July for as soon as these stickers wear down... Or a bit sooner..

Installed my new Yoshimura slip on and went for a ride!

Install was super easy and the exhaust sounds great! Just a little louder and better tone with the insert in place but not too loud, just what I wanted!

I've got that little job to do too...
First time I've done it... only issue I had was freeing the rear wheel once the spindle was out... ended up with all the cush drive rubbers in a pile on the floor ::)

Not enough grease most likely and or too much rain/ water crossings. Find the rear wheel much harder to install than to remove.

Never had one of these before but she is a heavy girl. Half the price of a Touratech item (and no I don't have the tools to make my own one).

I rode up the west coast of Michigan, along Lake Michigan ending in Cross Village and the famous Tunnel of Trees. It was a beautiful ride. We had lunch at a new restaurant across the street from the famous Legs Inn called the Old World Café. My daughter had Eggs Benedict and I had a Crab Sandwich. The food was excellent. Well worth the journey.

Oil, filter, rear brakes, trued the front rim, a new front tire ( Bridgestone Adventure 40 ) and a good cleaning after a 5,500 mile ride to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

note* very little oil in the airbox. surprised since my 2012 used to used to breathe a lot more oil
note** engine still has an rpm lope when started. the sync was off by up to -43

EVLED- You got your new rubbers, now wash that bike! The rear end of your s-10 looks like you have been riding through chalk puddles!
I nearly did but that would be getting a bit too carried away. Planning on getting it even dirtier soon...

Torqued all spokes now that I am at 3,000 miles. I found 3 loose on the rear and 2 loose on the front, not too bad. I will check them again in another 3,000 miles.

At 5800km on the ODO, did the 1st TB sync with a home made Manometer using some aquarium hose, T-joint, ATF oil, piece of long wood and cable ties.

Followed the service manual procedures but found that I have to adjust the Right Side screw to 3/4 turns instead of leaving it untouched. Left screw has closed in fully. Initial inches of ATF was about 10" different between left and right. Surprised that it is way off this much.

I have a Akra slip on and just put in Iridium plugs ...maybe this could have aggravated the off-balance.
