20 minutes and my garage is a disaster area. Plus the Enduro Engineering GPS bar. Plan is to get a cheap ass Nuvi for a 2nd opinion. Hate only using one GPS. Always put Apple maps up against Google Maps when I'm someplace I don't know.

Nice! Is that the stock shield you're using?

Thanks for the pics. They really help. Had a chance to test it out yet?

I had used only Yamaha products (YamaLube) for my 2012 Tenere. When the CCT Failed Yamaha could not foul for bad products. Might cost more but it paid off in the long run for me.

correction: I used a K&N air filter.

I've got a stock and a factory tall shield. No test yet, it's in the 30's in Buffalo, NY...

Since I'm getting close to 24K (finally!), ordered up the clutch basket parts to do when I do the oil change. I'm also going to be looking into doing the valve check at the same time, but I've never done one before. Glad I have the FSM now and this forum!

I attached the Harmonizer and synched the throttle bodies. Checked prior to backing the right airscrew out 3/4 turn and it showed an imbalance of 9-10 mlb. Set the right to 3/4 and adjusted the left to equalize the vacuum pressure. Took a ride. So much smoother. Why did I wait? I still feel a rumble through the bars when accelerating but at steady throttle, the engine feels much better with less tingling at the grips.

I just ordered a harmonizer today, won't get it probably until next weekend, but I'm really curious to see how this works out.
Works great!

Mine will be here tomorrow. Any tips on the job? Is the writeup on the forum accurate?
I didn't read the entire Harmonizer thread, just went by the Yamaha service manual. The left vacuum port is attached to a pressure sensor and the right is capped off. I removed and plugged the hose leading to the sensor then connected the Harmonizer to these ports, calibrated the device and started the engine. I may be doing something wrong here as the engine would run at a steady idle then after a minute, begin to stumble and eventually die. Cycling the key and restarting resulted in the same scenario. I got the happy face on the display, buttoned everything up and am now happy as a clam! If you have an angled screwdriver, you may be able to do this without raising the tank.

AV: assume you did or are going to take care of the CCT.

You need to have that sensor in the system, not plugged off. Just get a plastic tee and short pieces of hose for the harmonizer line that goes to the side with the sensor. I'll taker a pic tomorrow and post it.

The MAP sensor needs to remain attached to engine vacuum. Use of a vacuum 'T' will get it done.

Oops, sorry Fredz43, 14 seconds...

Thanks for setting me straight, guys. That may have given me a false reading as well so I'll check it again this weekend.
