Took it for a quick 70 mile ride to blow the cobwebs away from both me and the bike! froze my nuts off and spent longer cleaning the salt and cr.p off the bike than actually riding it.....do i feel good? You Bet!!!

Traded in my 12 for a 14 ES (Love it) Transferred old junk on to new bike. Put some new junk on.

Picture #1 (Installed Country of Origin Sticker on Starboard side, Hoping this reduces annoying Nice BWM or Is that the new BWM comments, or at least allow me to point at sticker and avoid convo)
Picture #2 Installed Mascot sticker and bought bag of South Texas OFFICIAL snack food
Picture #3 Installed Fastway EVO Air Pegs (NICE, so far I love them)
Picture #4 Installed cheap ebay Vmax passenger pegs (16$ much lighter than OEM)
Picture #5 Installed cheap the2wheels.com brake/clutch levers (LOVE them 40$shipped for the set fit great, feel great, look great IMHO)
Picture #6/7 Installed Admore/Hyperlight combo (BLINDINGLY bright, mostly due to Hyperlights, Scares the Cagers freguently and they stay back, BIG SUCCESS)
Picture #8 GPS and SPOT mounted on SW Motech GPS Mounts (80 bucks a pop for mounts, Ouch my A** still hurts but only real solution for mounting that I could see)

Ran a few errands. At 68 degrees outside you can't ask for better. Oh, and I really like my bike. ::022::

1. Read non-East Coast ride reports on YST, while in heated garage and storm Juno dumping snow outside.
2. Completed PIAA LP530 installation.
3. Started on SW-Motech Skidplate installation.
4. Stopped to take a quick ride (snow blower).
5. Researching alternative ways of getting Spring over quickly (black magic).

Inspired by Demacqi I fitted a set of Lust Racing +10mm jack up links to the rear suspension of my S10. My initial observations are that the rear wheel only just clears the ground on the centrestand, any higher and the centrestand would become redundant. The modest 10mm difference doesn't sound much but it makes a lot more difference sitting on the bike. The extra ground clearance will be a bonus and it should steer a little quicker too, which is nice. Roll on springtime ::008::

Checked airfilter, adjusted and synced the throttle bodies ( love the Harmonizer) and installed longer clutch and brake lines. I still need to bleed them however...

Performed the 600 mile service this past week. Thanks to this forum I did not overfill the oil reservoir. After adding the proper amount of oil and running the bike up to temperature it showed low. Went for a 30 mile ride and it checked out right in the middle of sight window. I know I would have added more oil at first check if I hadn't read comments here to beware.

Wish final drive filler hole was same as FJR instead of the right angle hole on S10. I noticed the difference and purchased a funnel with a bend in it. Not a big deal, just not as convenient.
Lubed pivot points.
Checked spokes, some not floppy loose but not up to spec. Mostly on rear wheel.

Added Givi SR371 trunk mount, the black in the mount and my old V46 look good on the matte grey bike. Wifey liked her first ride. Said trunk may be a little lower than on FJR for her back rest.
