What side deflectors are these?

I'm looking at a Madstad bracket and windshield and I see this image on their site. They don't list these as items they sell so I'm guessing they may be available somewhere else. Has anyone seen these before? Know where I can get them? Thanks in advance.

Yes Yamaha has the OEM wind deflectors or "wings".
Very expensive,
If your bike is a newer one, then used wings from a Gen 1 (2012) will not fit.

Wind deflectors and you will find then.
The price is in Canadian dollars so if you're in the U.S. better price for you.

As implied, Gen I and Gen II deflectors from Yamaha are slightly different shapes. The Gen I deflectors can be made to work on the Gen II bikes, but it's a lot simpler if you just order the correct ones for your year of bike. ;)

PowerBronze also makes some in the UK https://www.powerbronze.co.uk/

Welcome, I hope to have mine soon.
Made in the U.K. Apparently these "wings" deflect the airflow away from the rider.
So if it is cold wet and rainy these should be of some benefit.

Ok thanks for that Eric
Are these wings highly beneficial?

Any form of side wind deflector helps significantly in the rain. I've been using the Gen I Yamaha versions since 2011. I painted mine black since they reflected a lot of glare.

dealer gave me first gen for my second gen and said was no big deal. These defect lots of glare into your eyes so can paint them or go aftermarket which will be cheaper and tinted, back, or other pattern. I havent noticed much of difference however I had them on after 1 month of ownership so I cant say much.

My 2013 came with those winglets.
When considering upgrading to 2nd generation Tenere I took one for a test ride without any winglets and the difference was VERY noticeable.
Removed the winglets from the 2013 and installed them on my new 2018, All I had to do was cut about 1 1/2 inches off the front and it was very easy to do.

Received and installed a set of Yamaha deflectors that I found at a dealer selling online. They were $90 delivered and I was ok with that. They are different than the ones on that picture I posted however. That must be a Gen 1 bike?

I'll know just exactly how effective they are on Monday. It's been mid 40s in the mornings so I should be able to tell right away if there's any difference.

Just a FYI - some people have mounted them upside down and reversed side to side.

I don't think some read the directions.
