Reminds me of the old Mazda ... 626? I think they had a grand-total of 6 key combinations, so you had a 1 in 6 chance of starting a different car with your key :)

And John Deere farm tractors. Only four key options. So, $40 and you could steal anything green and yellow. Of course, it's not as bad as the tiktock challenge of stealing a Kia with a smartphone and USB cable. Not yet anyway.

Back in the day, the family car was a 1972 Datsun 510 wagon. Became "mine" when I learned to drive. A buddy of mine's family had the same thing. We found out that we could start each other's cars. Pranks ensued.

I wonder if it defeats the immobiliser too? It’s one thing to turn the dash on but quite another to start the engine

I’ve owned my 2010 Kawasaki C14 Concours since new it now has over 106k and have never had an issue with Kpass. I like it but you have to develop a system of kee it in the same few places ALL the time or it’s easy to misplace it.
I change the battery once a year and it always just works.71665510871__61459C6B-EA69-4EB9-A863-60D2AABA4858.jpegIMG_8198.jpeg
