This was Mia. She was my first dog, not counting the ones we had while I was growing up. Its A LOT different. I adopted her 2007 from the SPCA. She was confiscated from a pit bull fighting ring, where she was used as a bait dog. I only had her for two years, before she died of cancer in 2009, but she was one happy dog! I don't think there has been a day that has gone by where I have not thought of her. They definitely leave paw prints all over your heart when they pass away!

Here's our two goofballs. Max (on the left) was rescued from the SPCA in Vegas. Minnie was my grandparents dog; we took her in after my grandfather passed. Now that my grandmother has also passed, she is a reminder everyday of them.

There seems to be a trend around here with smaller Berneses. I have one across the street from me. Wonderful pooches and the owners think they are living longer too.
