After reinstalling the rear wheel I was clearing up my tools and I found this lying on the floor in front of the rear wheel.
As it has road grime on it I thought it must fit somewhere above the wheel but I can’t find any holes that it might fit in.
All help appreciated as it’s driving me nuts.

There is another one on the front side of the swingarm, just behind the shock. However I don't think its as prone to come out.

What model year is yours? I thought they had done something on the Gen2 bikes to make them more secure.
On my 2013, I lost the one on the side of the swingarm sometime during the first year of ownership. I saw a thread on here about the problem so I checked and it was missing. Ordered a new one and used some black silicone sealant, to hold it in place, as bimota did, and have not had a problem with it for the last 6 years. I don't remember if I removed the one on the front to seal it also but I probably did.
