T50 security Torx, I bought one at NAPA store in Ontario. Ultra Pro #06764
I would drill out the rivet and install a new pop rivet, a screw will come loose.

I purchased a set of torx security drivers at Lowes. I would not be surprised to see them at Canadi@n Tire or Home Depot

It worked, but probably a little loose.
My left box has a tiny bit of play on the top section where the T45 bolt is. I've beaten the hell out of this thing on plenty of trails and dodging old ladies in minivans, and a small piece is missing....Still holding strong.
In the beginning it was the bottom bracket where that weird U-shape connection sits on the rear peg attachment. I just wrapped electric tape around the rubber buffer.

The OEM cases are nice enough to get the job done, but if you're looking for a more solid structure pannier set up...there are other options.
