WOW.... very cool.... The LFA for $350-400K or GTR for about $95K ? If I was in that kind of market to look at the LFA I would rather be looking at a Ferrari 599 GTB or maybe a Ferrari 450 Itala AND save a TON of cash... I bet that at $400K Toyota / Lexus will be building the few cars for free. Ten years, best tools, best brembo brakes, the R&D in motor and trans... I would guess the LFA would need to be $750-1000000 to make a profit. depending on there production run.
Ive read and seen on "car shows" that the Bugatti is similar at $1.5M.... Not much money made on the car, not enough cars made, cost of parts and production.... really seams hard to think about a product like that..... Have you ever seen the engine block being CNC machined out of a solid piece of billet on You-Tube.... HOLY-WTF I think thats a million there.....
I believe those are the same Brembo carbon brake package as the Lambo... GT3.... ENZO.... 599...ZR1....Etc.... They are about $20K upgrade on several of the cars I just mentioned... Ive read in Road & Track that a "brake job" was about $9K depending on specific parts.... How would you like to get the car of your dreams being a GM ZR1 corvette (least expensive in this bunch), you go find a dealer that wants one GONE and you get your 'deal'........ One day down the road you go in and they say you needs brake pads.. They say we will have to order from Italy.....LOL And the brake job is $10K..... wowzers ???
Ill take 500+ HP in a sexy beast in a Porsche GT3 and be done with it.......... about $130K
