After a half-dozen years, it's time to try something different, I'm selling my reliable, well-dressed Super Tenere. $5000.
The Tenere is a great adventure touring bike with a rock-solid 1200 cc parallel twin. Add-ons include Givi side cases -- open top or clamshell; LED lights all over the front including NovSight headlights, PIAA 530 on the crash bar and a cheap set of LEDs under the headlights; headlight protector; MRA X-screen; engine guards; highway pegs; Oxford heated grips; wired for GPS; wired for radar detector; SAE pigtail for battery tender or gear; additional 12v socket (cigar-type) below passenger seat plus standard 12c on the dash; Yamaha winglets; Super Tenere magnetic tank bag; Michelin Anakee 3 tires, nearly new; cheap top case and mount; Seat Concepts seat kit; factory rack that will mount in front of the passenger seat. The decals are (I assume) removable.
Recent service, though I do the oil/filter changes myself.
It's a great bike; in fact, I put the tires on it in anticipation of a trip to Northwest Territories when I came across an MG Stelvio deal I couldn't resist. The bike's been to Alaska and several Canadian provinces including a loop around the Great Lakes and ALL the western states; I wouldn't hesitate to take it again. One of these days, the shock will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
Price includes a 3-gallon aluminum fuel cell I never got around to mounting -- I like to ride long distances.
All but 9,000 of the 65,000 miles are mine; I'm the second owner. Two parking lot drops, no damage to the bike either time.
Free test rides... as long as I'm holding your money. :)
Bike is in Kilgore, Texas.
