I've read elsewhere that Yamaha will announce the new 2013 models on June 6th. Any body else hear this? If true, does this announcement include changes to the current lineup?

I understand from my dealer is that Yamaha is not making any big changes for this next year. I would think color changes mostly? Japan is hurting and trying to recover. Not sure about the announcement date?

They will be announcing the S10 Rally Raid version - suspension travel and ground clearance will rival that of the KTM 990S, no power restriction in 1st three gears, available only in factory racing colors.

I bet you'll see 2013 models with new stickers and paint. If something big is going to happen, they usually do it with quite a bit more promotion beforehand. And yeah, I think they want to clear their pipeline and make sure the economy can buy some product. Euro zone, China, India and USA are all moving pretty slowly.
