I'm after a S10/XT1200 OEM topbox (P# 23P-F84A8-V0-00) if anyone is wanting to offload theirs for the right price (Yamaha sports plaza sells them new for US$277). Would like the topbox to include the locking mechanism where possible (lock barrel).
I bought a near new S10 over in OZ, which came fitted with all the OEM accessories with the exception of the screen (MRA), and the rear mounted topbox. The previous owner of the S10 had bought the bike with the factory OEM side cases fitted ex-dealer, and he never got the extra (third) lock which would have remained outstanding from the set of three (supplied with each S10 ex-factory) in the storage space under the seat. I plan to have the third lock keyed alike to my ignition key so that it forms part of the set - ignition, side cases/panniers & topbox.
I'm working in China, and yes, I bought the S10 in OZ (Australia)... I don't plan to be in China for ever. You will NOT need to arrange shipping to China as I can supply addresses locally in any one of 4 countries (NZ, OZ, USA or UK) where the topbox/locks can be sent. The close friends at each of the 4 local addresses in either NZ, OZ, USA or UK already collect & send items over to China for me and they would receive the goods and arrange to forward onto me here in China. With that being said though, I can also arrange collection in NZ or OZ personally should that be an option.
If any one of you lurkers or inmates (NZ, OZ, USA or UK) has a spare topbox that you'd be willing to sell for a reasonable price or perhaps willing to offload a spare lock or even the set then PM me.
