If you are wanting a speedometer from a USA spec bike to get MPH/KPH switchability you will be disappointed. The switching logic is in the ECU, and a USA spec ECU won't work on a Canadian bike with immobilizer.

In that case he could get a EU spec ECU. They are available here as a used part.
