It has been repaired as of right now but yea everything I have is always for sale at some point in time you interested? ::025::

Hopefully this latest addition won't be blamed for the next headlight wiring harness meltdown (which will happen BTW as it's a piss poor design). ::)

Have you posted about the warranty repair and resolution on the cooked headlamp harness thread? :question:

Though I am not sure I would call the stock headlamp sub-harness as a "piss poor design", I will say that it uses some marginal components that are *just* up to the task at hand. Odd too, considering how the rest of the bike is so-overbuilt and solid, like it was designed and manufactured to last forever. I'm sure the next generation of the Super Tenere will have a more robust sub-harness, much like Yamaha corrected so many details like that from one generation FJR1300 to another.

And no, I'm not a buyer for your bike... I've got a simply wonderful Super Tenere that I've enjoyed thousands and thousands of trouble-free miles on, and I'm sure it will do thousands upon thousands more. ;D

OK, now back to our regularly scheduled Vizi-Tech Brake Modulator programming!!! O:)

I'll keep this short since I don't want to taint this thread with cooked headlight harness rant. I did not reply in the cooked harness thread, I said so why on my last update.

A 23 mile ride home after the repair friday and the headlight wires inside the housing were smoking hot to the touch. The Denali lights had not even been on. So that theory is flawed. And yes it will happen again. The original color of that (gray) wire is black which with all the heat generated becomes gray, cooked!! Yamaha is NO help I'm done talking with theose morons. My dealer was outstanding except for the fact they didn't defend me with yamaha on the Denali auxillary lights not being the cause. Dealer took a neutral stance which is fine, I won't be buying another Yamaha anyway.

Glad your bike is loaded with awesomeness.

Now back to the regular programing. ::002::

It is a solid little unit. Legal in all 50 states - 10 year warranty - and weatherproof against temporary submersion in water for those who might forget their S10 doesn't float!

Received my Vizi-Tec Brake Light Modulator from Bernard this past week. Just got a chance to install it this morning. Just as the pictures in the first post of the thread show, the installation is quick, easy, simple, and completely painless. Used the opportunity while under there to treat all the various plugs and connections in the area with some dielectric grease to avoid future corrosion issues, so I'm glad I had a reason to get in that spot. ;D

I had a Vizi-Tec on my Ducati Hypermotard, and it always operated flawlessly, with quite a few riding buddies commenting on it and its effectiveness. Just as with that one from Bernard this one appears to really get your attention upon initial brake application, and his algorithms make much more sense IMO in the real work than other brake light modulators... And with a 10-year warranty how can you go wrong?

Thanks for making such a great product, Bernard, and for providing such fast and courteous service. And thanks to Karson, too, for arranging the discount for the "early adopters"! :D

Now I'm off for a ride! ::001::

This is a great little unit. Took about ten minutes to install and will not be annoying to drivers like some of the other brands of modulators out there.

I give it ::008:: ::008::

Received my brake light modulator last week. I don't know where I placed in the initial order scramble but Bernard followed through with the special group buy pricing regardless. Thanks Karson for setting this in motion. The product is GREAT! It was very easy to install (about 10 minutes time), works as promised, and enhances safety. Doesn't get much better than that.

I got my Supabrake kit last week. Installation couldn't be easier. It's nice to know someone can put that much smarts into brake light function. I only wish it wasn't behind me because I'd like to see working in real life. :lamp: I got the forum discount price - thanks Bernhard for coming through with that.

I was a little harsh on Karson for what I perceived to be an uncoordinated group buy. Sorry mate. Thank you for bringing this useful accessory to our attention.

Best regards,
Neil

Just what I was looking for! I have always run the Signal Dynamics units... but this is SOOOoooo much easier! Just got a reply from them telling me my unit will ship in 3 days. Cool! I want it on for a trip to CO later this month!

You will like it knowing the chances of some dink not paying attention might actually notice this. I especially like their force-flash retriggering algorithm - ~1:10 in the youtube video.

Great product, great company. Win, win.

Just placed the ordered. I called Bernard to ask him about when I would receive it. Nice person. No his number is not listed on his webpage but if you purchase something you will have his number.

Thanks Karson.

Hurry up and sell your bike Roy. Just remember how upset you were when that phone jockey rocked your world. Show 'em! Show all of 'em 'what fer!' Then you can join your sister Ellie May down by the 'cement pond.' ::)

He's just overflowin' with that "Keyboard Kourage", or is it "Bandwidth Bravery"? ::013::

You should'a seen the PM he sent me where he said he had "already dealt with" you, Tenerator. Truly funny, funny stuff! ::015::

Really seemed to bug the p*ss outta' him that you had changed your screen name here, too.

and this is LOSER number TWO on here ::002::

Both have been told via PM to go f**k themselves by me more than once yet they are the ones who continue this and want to continue it in public now since I won't give them any air time via PM, hmm who was the internet badass again, seems you both have it backwards.
