Haha Patrick, you got mad jokes! We are also very good at supporting the Navy wife's while their husbands are deployed. Happy Veterans Day to all who serve or have served.

A big thanks to all the Veterans out there. If there is one class of people who will always command my full respect, it is those who have given of themselves to protect myself, my family, and my ancestors. ::008::

Old pic of my brother (Twolukes) and me over in Dhahran. ::015:: I was flying Eagles and we went over on August 7th (or 9th??? All I remember was there were NO OTHER US combat assets in eastern Saudi yet) to bed down with the Saudi Eagle squadron. Two days later, the 82nd Airborne showed up (Luke was an Air Liaison Officer). I was sitting in the squadron and heard, "Where's my little brother? Mom sent me over here to make sure he doesn't hurt himself!" He's been doing that off and on for 53 years. Good brother to have around!!! ::008::

Thanks for saying thanks. Anyone who has teenagers in their house needs a little thanks some times....grrrr...

I guess Bruce Springsteen and Dave Grohl didn't make any statements at the Concert for Valor yesterday with CCR's Fortunate Son?
Love the song and CCR but wrong venue to perform such a tune.

Never the less I have the most respect to any of you who have served.
God bless you all..

My Thanks to ALL Veterans from Luke. . . And also thanks to my brother for posting that VERY old picture. Brings back many great memories and some scary ones, like I'm briefing the 82nd Airborne Commanding General, (a 2 Star) on the border of Iraq (near Raffa) when Unca Buddah and his wingman come across our "camp" at 50 feet in FULL afterburner, pulls it straight up, in formation with his wingman, and knocks down half of the camp of 15,000 dog soldiers (sorry Army boys) . . . The General glares over at the Air Force briefer (me) and says, and I quote, " That's Shit Hot!" I was an instant hero . . . Love ya brudder. . .

And you too SnakeBitten . . . Thanks for the picture!
