I guess I'm just getting a little butt hurt about all the "tired of the Tenere" . . . . on the Tenere website. I shouldn't have to defend her on her home turf. If she's not what you want, fine. If you want to stay on the forum, fine. But don't get another bike, stay here, and talk smack about the Tenere. :)
I hope I didn't say anything that was misconstrued as talking smack about the S10. Had 2 liked them and still think they are a very capable bike. It's on the list of bikes I would own again and that is a very very short list.

I agree. The Tenere is still a great bike even if it's not what I want at this point. If I were to go back to lots of long distance I would seriously consider getting my third.

Maybe I am just a weirdo, maybe I am just Italian ( probably a combo....)
but I just don't like it....
There are some overhere, not too many , but I do see them often on our roads but...
Who knows Maybe the neighbour grass is always greener...

I kinda feel ya on that one. I always associate "Italian" with performance. Not happening with a Moto Guzzi, Not anymore anyway. They had their day though, just like Harley. JMHO

I'm happy to see a single throttle body on the V85TT. Keeping the dual TBs clean and working properly can be a bit of a chore.

And a front fender?
The stock does nothing so I added the low one from a Caponord. Still may add a rear inner fender.

No problem. I've had fast bikes, sport bikes, and grew up racing mx dirt bikes.

MG knows better than to go head to head against BMW or the Japanese so put a lot of thought and research into how they'd transition away from the air cooled motors. Not the biggest or fastest but the new V100 engine in the Mandello and Stelvio is a great combination of performance with low weight and their sales are starting to reflect it. The Stelvio is still tempting me.

Don't get me wrong...
I am not saying it's not a good bike or anything else.
Simply it doesn't inspire me.
To be honest I am one of the few that really likes the look of the KTM 1290 but maybe it's just too much for my needs.
I do respect Moto Guzzi a lot.
