Just wondering what tyres you guys are running with & what sort of wear levels your getting (rear)? I currently only have a 2K on the clock & the standard Bridgestone battle wings while still having a fair junk of rubber left don't look like they will get much past 3500/4000 at best.
Im off on a 2500/3000 mile tour of Europe in the late spring so if possible I would like to change the rubber just before we go. I may well go for road biased rubber to start such as Avon Storm3 3D XM. I used these on my old Triumph, wet/dry grip was great with no sign of squaring off in 3000K miles loaded round Europe this year. Any advice on rubber is appreciated as my initial thought on the S10 is that it appears heavy on tyres, a guy in my local bike club finished his Battle wings off in 3500 miles but I obviously dont know how he rode his bike all of the time.
The question is aimed at UK /European as it been noted on the Triumph forums that the guys over the water get high miles in general over the water as the road surfaces over there appear to be less abrasive.
