Hi folks. I know this has been done before but have any of you UK riders got Bar Muffs and if so, where did you buy them? Ebay doesnt appear to list any specific ones for the S10. Pics would be great too if you have time/dont mind. Cheers

You would have to take off the OEM hand-guards to fit muffs, I was looking to go this route too, but for now have made extenders to fit at the top and the bottom of the hand guard (air comes from underneath as well and freezes the tips of the fingers) so far they work really well. That and heated gloves should have the cold riding days covered, so to speak.

Some bloke on the UKGSER forum used to flog them.

I did have some kicking around - moved house since, but if you can wait until the weekend I can go and see if I still have them. hand guards would probably need to come off though, and then they might blow back and operate brake / clutch, on GS you could remove part of the hand guard and fit them on.

the advantage of the oxford jobbies is that they go about 4" past the handle bar, so that way, there's very little wind and water that finds its way near your hands.
I'll take a picture after work and post it

Thanks folks. All very useful. Im in no hurry Rasher but dont go to any trouble. Just knowing the name of them (if you can remember) would help. The Oxford Bone dry ones seem ok.

I had a long day at work yesterday, and completely forgot to take a pic of the set up.
The oxford bar muffs come back almost 6" from the center of the bar, back, so they have a big overlap, and give lots of coverage.
They are easy to get in and out of, with no real issues with any oem switch gear

They are the Tucano Urbano 319 muffs I have used on my R1150GS & Super Tenere with the standard hand guards fitted
I also used the gaucho from the same firm

The bloke on UKGSer is ValH - forum thread here http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php/382326-Muffs-and-Gauchos-2014?highlight=muffs with some pictures

I will use them again this winter on my MT09 Tracer fitted with KTM handguards instead of the silly OE ones.

Wesson. Any chance you can take a pic of the Model Number on your tucanos and post it. I have a pair for sale cause I can't get them to fit my bike over the stock hand guards.
