Thanks for the Welcome everyone , I haven't had a chance to really sit on or look one over real good yet , the local is expecting one in soon. But from what i have read on the site this looks like it will be my next bike . Does any body ride two up on theres , My wife rides her Burgman most of the time ,but there are some occasions she would like to ride.

a lot of us have done many miles of two up riding. Some even in CO through some narley mountain passes.

I have not had any complaints.

And it seems, for me anyway, that the rear Yamaha top box makes a great back rest for the pillion.

Many miles logged this past year 2 UP, the first year owning my S10. The bike is great for this, lots of torque, stills handles well. I did put an Ohlin's rear shock on. Love this bike single or 2 UP!

You will find that it adapts well to single or double riding. You won't go wrong. I have found very few people that get the bike and just don't like it.

90% + of my riding is two up. No problems whatever and very comfortsable from passenger's viewpoint. Ace motorcycle

All the time and she prefers it to anything else we've been on.

Did for two years until the Mrs passed her test and got her own bike.

A very good two-up machine, but could do with a better shock ideally - but that can be said of most bikes, if you ain't too big and do not go too far you will be fine, if you plan on touring two-up I would suggest a stiffer spring at the least, and preferable a better quality shock with wider range of adjustment.

Plenty of two-up riding with my wife. No problem at all. She says the passenger accommodations are quite comfortable. ::008::

She even gets on here and tells how she liked the trip.

Yep. I witnessed this pair climbing all over the mountains of Ouray.
Cost me about 3 weeks of extended vacation. (long story)

I can never thank them enough for me and my wife having the best motorcycle summer of my 45 years of riding.

Absolutely a 2-up pack mule!

Lots of 2up. We modified the seat to better fit her and I installed aftermarket FJR passenger lowering brackets. She's got an old volleyball injury the gets inflamed. Dropping pegs makes it a non issue.
