Hi Guys just picked a new 2013 Super Tenere. I already have a two brothers pipe for it, but was checking to see what your opinion was on the Two Brothers Juice Box. I am planning on getting the arrow header at some point. Thanks for thr help. ::001::

That setup never really "caught on". Most guys seem to get the Power Commander. I think it would behoove you to stick with what others have so you can share maps/get help from the masses more easily.

Thanks for the comments. I installed a PCV on a buddy's dl650 and did not like it. Thats why I am looking at something else like the juice box. I have twi pc111usb s and I like them. But the 5 seems to be a pain. I may try the juice box just to be different. I was a motorcycle tech before I finished my helo license. Trained by yamaha and Honda. I will keep you informed.

What didn't you like?

The 2Bros is basically a copy of the Power Commander 3.

The o2 optimizer has never worked and power commander has replaced it three times, still doesn't work. Way more money then the juice box. ::022::

Well...if you don't like the PCV, it really doesn't matter what anyone's opinion of the 2Bros is. I don't think there exists a 3rd option.

Flash it to open up the closed loop and ditch the O2 optimizer - I never liked it either. Then you can tune inside the closed loop much easier.

What broke on the PC that needed to be replaced? The PC V's are pretty robust and a significant upgrade over a PCIII, if that's what you were having problems with.

At any rate, sounds like your mind's made up to go on a maiden voyage with the slush box - let us know how it goes!

The pcv did not work out of the box had to send it back twice. Thee o2 optimizer did not work either. Now I have two that don't work. With just a slip on do I need the controller? My buddy has the two brothers slip on with no tuner and says it runs fine. But I dont want to hurt the motor. My pc111 has worked good so far just wanted to what else was out there being used. Love the web site. ::018::

Look at the published maps by Dynjojet for slip-on mufflers and decide for yourself.

The juice box is made by PC and uses the same maps. Much cheaper. Holds 10 maps adjustable on the fly and is $199.00. The pcv has the ability to adjsut timing on some bikes the juice box can't. How is the best place to reflash the ecu? I have been looking at off the road in Germany. Has any one had any dealings with them? I think I will try the reflash and a juice box and see how it goes. My buddy has a dynojet dyno so we can make some different maps when I remove the cat. Hope your all out enjoying your awesome machines. ::022::

Best outfits for a re-flash here in the USA are:

1.) Our own avc8130 here on the forum, who can do completely custom re-flashes based on what you want. A quick search or look in the vendors section will turn up his info. Just drop him a PM to start the conversation rolling. In fact, he has replied right here in your thread. His price is $225.

2.) Ed Cook at AF-1 Racing in New Braunfels, TX does the best job with the ECUnleashed Gen 2 re-flash - http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=38286 - and the price is $449. You can contact Ed here - http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/contactUs.asp

Lots of positive reviews both here and on ADVrider for both AVC's and ECUnleashed re-flashes, so you can't go wrong with either. I have the ECUnleashed Gen 2, and IMHO a good re-flash is the single best improvement you can make to the Super Tenere.

Yes, there is Diapason and Off-The Road.de in Europe, but both the ECUnleashed and AVC's are jsut as good or better than either of those, and they are right here in the USA... And with AVC you have it custom to exactly what you want.

Just FYI.

With a reflash do I still the pcv or juice box. Sounds like I don't! I love how the bike runs stock but can't wait to hear the two brothers pipe I have sitting at home. I am working in Kennewick, Washington now and will not be home until later this week. Thanks for all the great help and advice. I am taking it all in. AC has some great insight on this machine. As soon as I sell my Vee I am going to farlk the heck out of this S10. ::021:: ::022::

It depends.

ECUnleashed would say "no". I will also say "no", with one caveat: if you have the Arrow headers I still think a piggyback fueler is the best option AS OF NOW. I'm working on a better flash solution for the headers, but I'm a few months out before I'll be willing to share it.

With a 2Bros, no worries about fueling in my opinion.

That sounds good I am several months away from getting an arrow header. Just started flying for a new guy so I have to make up for not working this winter. Should be ready after August or September. Loving this bike it flat moves for what they post as peak horse power numbers. My Vee was right at 100hp and this tenere pulls it hard. Rode with a buddy that was on a 14 GSA. The two bikes pulled right together the hole time. Now my buddy is 5'6" and 150lbs. And I am 6'2" 240bls so he should have out pulled me but they S10 stayed tight on that GSA Water buffalo ::025::. This a great bike handling, suspension, and motor. Love it ::022::

Ha! If you think it moves now, you need to ride one that is reflashed!

Amen, Bruddah! Amen! ::008::

AVC is right, you need to ride one that's re-flashed... And nobody, but nobody, knows more about re-flashing the Super Tenere than AVC8130, period.
