Maybe I'm computer challenged can not find a thread on two brothers end can. Has anybody installed one and how do you like the new sound ? I do not want to spend the money for an akropovic but would like to be heard when lane splitting . I realize without replacing the header I won't get much in the way of performance but would like to override clutch basket rattle also. ::017::

I just installed a Yoshimura on mine. I have done Two Bros on other bikes (work at a shop). I believe, and maybe someone else can verify, that the Yosh is better quality. It is less expensive as well.

Thanks Squarebore. I purchased the exact same pipe . Just looking for something with a little rumble to it. By the way I found some threads on the subject.

I have 2 Brothers SS slip on with 24000 miles. It is loud and ok quality. Replacing it with a Yosh as we speak. If it works out maybe you should buy the old one for $125 plus shipping.

Any idea how to quieten the Two Brothers down a bit? I like the sound, but the volume is a bit much. They have other tips, but they are straight, they would melt the blinker.

I just sold on my TB pipe to Camshaft. If I'm not mistaken it had the 3 DB quiter tip in the muffler. It helped a bit.
linky here: http://www.twobros.com/sku/005-P1
I also had a TB on my 01 VFR, loud but beautiful sound thanks to the V4 and the gear driven cams.

I currently have a home made Staintune. IMO the best sounding pipe on my bike to date. With the optional baffle, it drops it down to stock sound levels

Greg, do you have the stock blinker? I figured the way it melted that reflector off of mine, if I didn't have the bent tip it would melt the blinker off.

Thanks for the replies all. Can was on the porch when I got home today and I just had to install it and fire it up . 45 mins start to finish . Just about the sound I was looking for but for the life of me I can not figure out why they didn't raise the darn the up about 2" or so looks like hell hanging way down below the stock heat shield ! I guess I can live with it for a while but I'm defiantly going to paint the aluminun heat shielding on the back side flat black. All in all not bad for the price. Makes you wonder about TB research and development department. ::021::

stock turn signal was turned to a goo of smoldering plastic on my first exhaust...a crappy ART from the UK.

Im on to some pretty crappy (read: near invisible) ebay cheapies. The way my staintune sits it was a necessity
