Got the TT fuse block and decided to install it in the void at the forward end of the electrical area. First had to dremel out the fin (as instructed!) for the velcro patch.

Then I used the supplied PosiLock to tap into the license plate light circuit for switched power signal. So I ran the yellow wire into some corrugated wire channel and fished it from the area under the seat up under the tank and thru the electrical area up to to velcro:

I ran the red and black wires to the battery and here it is all hooked up. Pretty simple really. I plan to run heated gear, GPS, aux lights, extra cigarette light thru here.

Bike started and ran okay so I don't think I f*cked anything up!

Now on to the CalSci windshield...

Good job & thanks for the pictures nice. I used the Eastern Beaver fuse block but it has an external relay and 8 circuits but I mounted it in the same place it makes for a clean installation .

Nice work - it's as if a fuse block was meant for that area, huh? ;)

Well, yes it is! I was pretty surprised I was able to get it done without too much fuss.

The reason I didn't go under the seat is because then I'd have to run all the wires back there to the fuse block. It was a very attractive place though! Did you worry about waterproofness?

I have the Fuzeblock brand which is the same as the TT with a different sticker on the front (and cheaper). My install was pretty much the same....instead of velcro I used zip ties...I like having all my electrical bits in the same location.

I think that was to me. Yes, I thought about the water issue, but it hasn't been a problem. Dry as a bone after hours of riding in the rain. I also thought about run of wires, but that also hasn't been a problem. It is actually a little cleaner, in my opinion, because most wires can just be bundled to run straight back under the tank.

Me too with my Eastern Beaver. I have a thread somewhere with pics. I like the armoring tube - I have one spot that I may go back and protect with some of that!
