The Super Tenere is great to ride but is it just me or does it really look like a tub of lard on wheels?

I'll grow on you. I like the looks now that I've had it awhile.

Yes it does but I think it's only because I see the bike so much. No matter where I go it follows me. It never wants to stay home sick in the garage. It never wants to go visit its relatives at the dealership. It never abandons me on a long trip and makes me find an alternate method home without it. It's always right there in front of my face or by my side so I get tired of it just like a wife of 20 years. Come to think of it that's why I'm divorced, maybe I should look for another bike, strange can be fun. LOL

Compared to what? A Supersport? Pit Bike? Gold wing? I've been a fan of the naked bike look since the SV650's and V-Stroms came out. The dark engine parts with lighter colored bolts, along with Gold shocks/blue paint. Sexy. At least it doesn't look like a BMW ::002:: ::025::

No, I don't think it does. But if it looks that way to you, didn't it look that way before you plunked down your $19,000 (or whatever the MSRP in Australia is) to buy one? That's a lot of green for something you describe as a tub of lard. Unless you really, really like lard.

She's no looker, not exactly a MV Dragster, but then I would not know what a tub of lard looks like, do they even sell lard, and if so, what really is it's purpose? Ok, so I've gone of track.....
Yes, and I use it to season my cast iron pans sometimes when I run out of bacon grease.
