Here in the UK, MCN reckon they have got lowdown on the re-vamp of the TEX.

I was amazed to see the supposed sales success of the existing model, or is it a case of damned statistics again. Interesting to see though, in the light of the iminent return of the Honda Africa Twin, which seems to be chasing potential KTM rather than BMW customers.

I would wonder howmany potential customers purchased a different bike because of the current Explorers reliability record..........it was for precisely this reason that it didn't figure on my wish list :exclaim:

Interesting the article makes no mention of what Triumph has done to make it more off-road worthy. Sure the WP suspension, but what about ECU tuning or carrying that fuel high on the bike?

I noticed in the photos it has the same "welded" passenger pegs to the sub frame which is really all part of the same frame. On the Triumph forums they state in some cases the passenger bracket getting bent totals the bike since its none replaceable. Would be interesting as well as the rear peg bracket on the current model bolts on...
